Avyaan Negi

Mini Dribblers League · U-11 · 2026–27

Playing up, and waiting for minutes.

In progress2 W1 goal · 2 assists

An independent Bangalore grassroots league at Aura Sports Arena, played 7-a-side. Avyaan is with Sporthood Elite here and playing up at U-11. The opening day brought two comfortable wins — 10–0 and 4–0 — but very little pitch time: barely eight to ten minutes across the second game. What he did get, he used, with a goal and two assists in that first half. The league runs over five weeks.

The story

Two won, and a long wait on the side.

The opening day went the team’s way twice over — 10–0 against BYSS, then 4–0 against JBS RM, all four of those in the first half. Neither opponent was especially competitive, and the wins were comfortable enough that the result was never the story of the day.

The story was game time. He barely featured in the first match and got eight to ten minutes in the second — around a quarter of it. In that spell he scored one and set up two, which is the part worth holding on to: he is playing up an age group here, and the minutes will have to be earned rather than given.
